Mildred Hill Concerts

The family of Mildred Hill, charter members of Zion Lutheran Church, made a special bequest to fund the Mildred Hill Concerts.  The goal of the concert series is to provide quality music concerts and workshops for the people of America's Wild Rivers Coast. 

Mildred led the music program at Zion Lutheran Church for more than 30 years, directing the choir and singing solos using her degree in music from the University of Oregon. She did everything within her power to use music to enhance the worship and ministry of the church.

The inaugural concert of this series featured the classical guitars of Dark Rose Trio -- Grant Ruiz, Steve Berman, and Joseph Thompson -- on Saturday, May 26, 7:00 pm, at Zion Lutheran Church in connection with the 2nd Annual Port Orford Cedar Expo.

The second conert during the inaugural year will be a Celtic Fiddle and Piano Concert featuring Hanneke Cassel and Cali McKasson. Click here for complete details.
